Kingstowne Beginner Triathlon Program

It’s one of the fastest growing sports in the United States right now!  Chances are you know someone who either does or plans to do one of these three part endurance races.  And there is now a great opportunity for you to BECOME one of those people!

Beginning in May, Kingstowne fitness centers are partnering with USATriathlon (USAT) certified coach, 2 time Ironman, and owner of Roman Endurance LLC, Kim Baumgartner, to offer a beginner triathlon training program.  The program is designed to take you to the finish line of a sprint triathlon!

When you register for the program, you will get three weekly workout sessions in swim, bike, run and strength training for 12 weeks.  You will receive training in race tactics, transitions, and equipment.  You will have access to Coach Kim by email and phone for questions and concerns between workouts.  You will have tons of fun!

 

 

Details:

12 weeks of training starting after Memorial Day

3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

$199 per person

Stop by a Kingstowne Fitness Center to register (you do not need to be a Kingstowne resident!)

Recommended minimum fitness levels: 1) Ability to swim one length of the pool freestyle with face in the water 2) Be able to ride a bike for 15 minutes  3) Be able to jog for 10 minutes

** Note** You WILL need a bike AND a helmet for this program.  A road bike is preferred – please contact me with any questions or concerns regarding bikes or other equipment
